Thea has over twenty-one (21) years of experience as an accomplished client services leader with expertise in the group benefits industry. She started her group benefits career with Capital BlueCross. After leaving Capital BlueCross she started her own benefits consulting company. In September of 2010, she merged her benefits consulting business with Equinox. With over ten (10) successful years with Equinox, Thea cultivates key partnerships with providers, clients, and partners. She displays and stands by the unparalleled customer service that she and the team at Equinox bring.

Thea currently manages key accounts for one of the principal partners and another producer. She has the overall responsibility for 55 clients with employees in multiple states throughout the country. These clients range in size from 30 employees to 700 employees. Thea’s accounts are a mix of self-funded, level-funded and fully-insured. She ensures all compliance standards are met and exceeded for her clients. Thea also steps in to assist with an escalated claim, enrollment and/or billing issue should they arise, Developing relationships, educating clients, leading and coordinating presentations to employees is a huge part of her responsibilities and the one she enjoys the most. Engaging her client’s employees in their healthcare and ensuring they understand how to use the benefits offered to them is of paramount importance.

Thea has a B.S. in Business Administration from York College of Pennsylvania. She has a PA Resident Producer license in Life & Health Insurance and has earned the Managed Health Professional (MHP) designation. When not at work, Thea enjoys working out and spending time with her husband, Keith and their Mini Goldendoodle, Remi.
