Speaker: Joe Ross, Vice President of Underwriting

The increased severity and prevalence of high claimants is the greatest concern for employers according to multiple national surveys. The rise in cost for cancer treatments and the significant cost of specialty drugs hitting the market are impacting self-funded plans.

Understanding stop loss policies and contract features is more important than ever to ensure that employers are protected both for the short-term and long-term. Securing the best policy and identifying the best arrangement, while mitigating the risk should be the top priority of all current and prospective self-funded employers.
