Dan has over sixteen (16) years of industry experience, with the last ten (10) years as a partner with Equinox.  He is an expert in self-funding insurance programs and strategies for cost containment. Dan specializes in advising organizations and corporations in choosing healthcare products that not only fit their needs but also control costs.

Dan, with the help of his team, manages more than 25 key accounts in the 51+ market. Dan and his team have been able to assist their clients to reap the benefits of going level-funded or self-insured. He has been able to get more creative with self-insured options, with the ability to place business for the stop loss in consortiums or through a captive. Additionally, with the ability to carve out the Pharmacy Benefit Management (PMB), the increase in rebate dollars groups are seeing has jumped.

Dan has a B.S. in Business administration from Penn State.  He has a PA Resident Producer License for Accident and Health, Life & Fixed Annuities, Casualty & Allied Lines, Personal Lines, and Property & Allied Lines.  He is listed on the National producer registry and has a CT Non-Resident License for Life, Accident & Health or Sickness, Credit, and Travel.  Dan has the Healthcare Reform Certification.
